Cool collabo: Cashmere Cat & DJ Mustard – Ice Rink (Audio)
Cashmere Cat and DJ Mustard released one of many beats they produced together in January of last year. This one is called Ice Rink and it is composed of both artists’ signature sounds: the Cat’s harmonic vocal samples and Far Eastern sounding bells merge with Mustards G-Funk synths.
“Me and Mustard started this song in his studio in Burbank January last year. Very excited to let u hear the first of many beats we did together”, says Cashmere Cat on his Soundcloud account. So Ice Rink might only be the leading sign to more co-production by the two DJs.
The last extensive solo effort by Cashmere Cat was his delightfully melodic Wedding Bells EP released in February last year. He followed that up with a remix for his friend Ryn Weaver’s Octaheat which you can listen to below or buy here if you want to support the talented newcomer.

DJ Mustard seemengly produced every hit single coming out of the US in the past two years at least. Just now he put out a remix for ZHU’s well-beloved Faded, which Mustard co-produced together with the hard hitting DJ Snake. You can listen to Faded 2.0 below and even download it for free.
